Possibly the hardest part of buying a Minecraft product is making sure it's official. So The Diamond Squid is here to help! With this guide, The Diamond Squid hopes to expose the sneakiest knockoff products that have fooled many people already.



Fake Plush Ender Dragon



This fraudulent product has fooled over 200 customers into giving it 5-star reviews on Amazon. Don't let yourself be the next to fall prey to their phony product.
I do not condemn unofficial products that explicitly state that they are not the official product, however, this one does not do so, and instead claims to be the official product itself.
One disappointed customer stated that it arrived poorly packaged and that it was smaller than the official product (which they already owned). Take a look.

Many customers expose it as being stiff and poorly made, with many of the phony dragons arriving with tears and rips in the seams.
Worse than that, one customer's child had an allergic reaction while snuggling with the product.
I would also like to note that this is one of two Ender Dragon Plushes available on Amazon. Do not buy the other one, as it is a poorly-made fraud as well. The official picture for it is provided below.


In conclusion, I would not recommend these products to anyone, and I would warn everyone to stay away from them.



Fake Plush Squid

This is probably one of the sneakiest knockoffs of them all. It has actually been purchased more on Amazon then the real product (and is cheaper as well), and thus, it is higher on the search results. But with a little digging, its authenticity comes into question.
Down in the Amazon product reviews, a few observant people are accusing it of being fake. Could it be? Is a knockoff more popular than the real product? Yes, it's true. Just look at the picture down below: its tag reads "Mojnay" instead of "Mojang".

A typo? I think not. This squid has 6 tentacles instead of the 8 in the official product, and they appear more flimsily attached than on the official Mojang product.
All in all, this is a good product if you don't mind buying off-brand, however, in my opinion, the official product is worth the few extra bucks.
