The Command
/clear is one of the simplest commands there are. By typing in "/clear @s," you can instantly clear your entire inventory. If you want to be more specific and only clear a specific item, just add in the item's name after the command. A handy list of items you can clear is even provided when you're typing in commands.
Not Working?
Just be careful to use the item's correct name, as typing in "/clear @s diamond chestplate" won't work. Instead you'd have to type: /clear @s diamond_chestplate. The underscore may seem minor, but underscores, periods, spaces, and the like make all the difference here.
If this command is not working, check to make sure that you've typed in everything properly, and make sure you're opped so that you have permission to use the command. Commands do not work in Survival worlds unless Cheats are on, in which case you can no longer earn achievements in that world.
Please also note that this page is intended for Bedrock Minecraft, and these commands may not work in Java Edition, PS4 Edition, or Xbox 360 Edition.
