An question that has left many Crafters scratching their heads: why were endermites added to Minecraft? The answer?
According to Minecraft developer Dinnerbone, the original idea was that whenever endermen teleport, they travel through a mysterious dimension filled with many strange creatures, and sometimes, when an enderman teleports, some of those creatures escape, and hence the endermites.
