/weather

The Command
The weather command simply toggles the weather. There are three weather settings: clear, rain, and thunder. All you have to do is type in "/weather" and then the desired weather setting, as seen below.
/weather clear
/weather rain
/weather thunder
There is no setting for snow, as it will snow automatically in cold biomes or high in the sky instead of rain. Additionally, this command can be used to ensure the nature of the weather for a certain amount of time, after which it will change to one of the two other settings. All you have to do is follow the guide above and then add the desired number of seconds of this weather at the end. An example is provided.
/weather clear 10000
This will set the weather to "clear" for 10,000 seconds, after which it will change to rain or thunder. The largest number you can enter for this is 1,000,000.

Not Working?
If this command is not working, check to make sure that you've typed in everything properly, and make sure you're opped so that you have permission to use the command. Commands do not work in Survival worlds unless Cheats are on, in which case you can no longer earn achievements in that world.
Please also note that this page is intended for Bedrock Minecraft, and these commands may not work in Java Edition, PS4 Edition, or Xbox 360 Edition.
